Guest & Visitors to University Place Hotel & Conference Center (Hotel) agree to the following:

Hotel Guest Check in begins after 4:00 PM

Hotel Guest Check Out time is by 11:00 AM

A credit/debit card matching the identification of the cardholder and Registered Guest must be presented for registration. We do not accept cash. A deposit will be held upon check-in for all reservations to cover damages or additional charges.

Reservations that require a deposit will only be guaranteed once the deposit is successfully taken. If we are unable to secure a deposit from the credit/debit card you provided at the time you made the reservation, the reservation will be held for a period of 24-hours for the registered Guest to provide new payment information to secure a deposit. If at the end of the 24-hour period we are unable to secure a deposit, the reservation will be canceled.

In the event of a No-Show (failure to check-in without prior notification of cancelling the reservation), a fee will be charged to the credit/debit card you provided at the time you made the reservation per the cancellation policy that applies to your reserved rate plan.

By providing credit card details for payment or as a guarantee, I authorize University Place Hotel and Conference Center (Hotel) to charge the credit card on file for all charges incurred in relation to the above Hotel booking. This will include all daily occupancy fees and taxes, Hotel services, and/or other additional charges including, without limitation, the additional fees/charges identified below.

Pets – The Hotel gladly accepts well-behaved dogs in specific pet friendly rooms when arranged with the Front Desk. Pets must be on leash at all times. Additional pet fees will apply. There are no fees for service animals.

Valuables – The Hotel is not responsible for any loss of unattended valuables in your room. Please see the Front Desk to make arrangements to secure your small valuables, documents, and/or money.

Parking – Parking is available for an additional charge and guests must obtain a parking permit before parking in the surrounding lot. The permit must be displayed on the vehicle’s rear-view mirror. Oversized vehicles have additional fees. The Hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to customer’s vehicle and its contents. Lost parking permits are nonrefundable, and replacements are charged per permit. Improperly parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed.

No Smoking Permitted – PSU is a smoke and tobacco free university. As such, Hotel premises are designated as smoke-free. Smoking is defined as inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any activated vaping device, lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe or other tobacco or marijuana product or any other similar lighted product in any manner or form. Evidence of violation by registered guests or visitors will result in a $200 fine and eviction from the property. No grace period or exceptions allowed to non-smoking policy.

Do Not Disturb Policy – The Hotel reserves the right to inspect each guest room every 24 hours to ensure the well-being of our guests and confirm the condition of the room. Refusal of housekeeping service for a 24-hour period will require Hotel Management to perform a visual inspection of the guest room.

Cleaning/Disturbances – All guests are responsible for leaving the guest room undamaged.
Additional fees will be charged to the card on file for extraordinary cleaning or damage repair. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. During this time the level of noise emitted from the room or in the hallways may not exceed what is normal/customary for similar residential housing.

Pool Use – The pool is only to be used by registered guests during the posted hours of operation. Use of the pool outside of the hours of operation will result in a $100 fine and potential eviction.
