University Place Hotel and Conference Center is Downtown Portland’s only Economical Hotel and Affordable Conference Center.

Owned, Operated and Located on the campus of Portland State University and Open to the Public.

    – Registered Service Animals are welcome with a signed Pet Policy Agreement and Service Animal Agreement. No pet fees apply to Service Animals.
    – Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not considered Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Emotional Support Animals are permitted in designated pet-friendly rooms but are subject to the standard Pet Policy Agreement and applicable pet fees.

Outdoor Seasonal Pool: Check the status of our Outdoor Seasonal Pool by contacting the Front Desk in the morning to see if the pool is available for the day.

Our outdoor seasonal pool is open during the summer season (seasonal dates are determined by Hotel Management).  The pool may not be accessible during your stay due factors such as maintenance, weather, etc..**  For additional information about our outdoor seasonal pool, please contact the Front Desk.

Downtown Dining Options:  Blocks away from a wide array of quality eating establishments – including Portland’s famous Food Carts!

Public Transportation:  Getting around from here is a breeze! TriMet’s Lincoln Station and the MAX Line is just outside our front door and the Downtown Street Car is less than 3 blocks away – both can quickly get you anywhere downtown – connect you to the PDX International Airport, the Amtrak Station and many points beyond.
