With a nod to Portland’s past, our Viking House restaurant walls are adorned with historic photos of the growing city, starting with Portland State’s birth in Vanport in 1946. Above the restaurant, a flowing wood ceiling pays tribute to Oregon’s natural resources.  

A true sports bar, the Viking House Bar & Grill features eight television screens and one projection screen, that will showcase a wide variety of sports and, through a partnership with Viking Athletics, host special events like watch parties and pre- and post-game celebrations.

Viking House Bar & Grill is open seven days a week offering a comforting menu designed to “nourish the viking soul” by providing diners with a sports bar and restaurant service experience at a price point that will serve the PSU community and our downtown neighbors.
