Hotel COVID-19 Information

Guest & Visitors Acknowledgement of Risk:

All Guests and Visitors to University Place Hotel & Conference Center must acknowledge that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and that, by visiting or staying at the University Place Hotel and Conference Center (Hotel), all Guests and Visitors are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Despite these risks, all Guests and Visitors voluntarily seek services provided by the Hotel.

All Guest and Visitors will also further acknowledge that, while the Hotel has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Hotel cannot guarantee that all Guests and Visitors will not become infected with COVID-19, and understand that all Guests and Visitors must comply with all set procedures and posted Hotel guidance to reduce the spread during my stay.

A Message to our Guests:

At the University Place Hotel and Conference Center, our number one priority is the health and safety of our Guests, Employees, and Community.

We are taking active measures to ensure the health and safety of those who are our Guests, Employees, and Customers:

– We have increased the frequency of cleaning for all high-touch surfaces and high traffic areas in our public spaces and guest rooms.

– Our hotel restaurant and food provider will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food and safety recommendations from the Oregon Health Authority and the Portland State University Incident Management Team.
