University Place Hotel has conference and event facilities for groups as small as 5 and as large as 400. Our 8,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space includes 10 meeting rooms and a recently renovated 3,792-square-foot ballroom. Many of our event spaces feature large windows and wonderful views, a plus for any event.

Each of our event spaces is unique, but all are quiet and private, and can be personalized depending on your needs. We’ve hosted everything from business meetings to wedding receptions to alternative energy conferences.

Ballrooms

Columbia Falls Columbia Falls is our 2nd floor ballroom, which can comfortably hold groups from 30–400. Newly renovated in Spring 2011, Columbia Falls features 10-foot ceilings, a separate 900-square-foot registration area, and large picture windows that provide natural light and views of the West Hills. Columbia Falls also has hidden dividers that can be used to break the space into three separate rooms: |
| Wahkeena Falls Wahkeena Falls makes up 1/3 of the Columbia Falls ballroom. Light and airy, it has large picture windows and 10-foot ceilings. Wahkeena Falls can hold groups of 30–125. |
| Elowah Falls A sister space to Wahkeena and Multnomah, Elowah Falls makes up 1/3 of the Columbia Falls ballroom. Newly renovated, it has 10-foot ceilings and can hold groups of 30–90. Elowah Falls may be combined with Wahkeena Falls to form a 2,260-square-foot space, or with Multnomah Falls to form a 2,460-square-foot space. |
| Multnomah Falls Multnomah Falls makes up 1/3 of the Columbia Falls ballroom, and is the largest space of the three. Newly renovated, it has 10-foot ceilings and can hold groups of 30–180. |

Willamette Ballroom Conveniently located next to the Lincoln Station Grill, the Willamette Ballroom is our first floor junior ballroom. With 9-foot ceilings, an integrated screen, and an outer registration area, it features natural lighting and park views. The Willamette Ballroom is perfect for groups of 40–190. |

Crater Lake Crater Lake is an 840-square-foot space on our first floor. Quiet and private, it features an integrated flat-screen LCD display and a private entrance. Crater Lake is perfect for groups of 20–50. |

Pyramid Lake Adjacent to the Columbia Falls ballroom, Pyramid Lake works well for small group meetings or as an office space. Newly remodeled, it features an integrated screen, 10-foot ceilings, natural lighting, and a skylight with views of downtown Portland. |

Trillium Lake Adjacent to the Columbia Falls ballroom and next to Pyramid Lake, Trillium Lake is perfect for small group meetings or office space. Newly remodeled, it features natural lighting, 10-foot ceilings, and an integrated screen. |

Newport Newport is a dedicated board room on our first floor. Perfect for groups of 6–12, Newport features an integrated screen, natural light, and views of our courtyard. |

Pool/Courtyard Area Our pool and courtyard area is an excellent outdoor spot for wedding receptions and small gatherings. Surrounded by lush greenery, the courtyard features a dedicated gazebo, and can accommodate groups of 20–100. |
